Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA) Training

Measurement System Analysis refers to methods used to evaluate our measurement systems and determine whether we can trust our data. The evaluation of measurement system should be done prior to capability analysis, control charting or any other analysis to prove that the measurement system is accurate and precise, and the data are trustworthy.

MSA is a mathematical procedure to quantify variation introduced to a process or product by the act of measuring. The purpose of MSA is to assess the error due to measurement systems.

Types of Measurement System Analysis

  • Attribute MSA
  • Variable MSA

This is a one day course designed to allow candidates to understand the principle methodology and enable them to take their learning back into the workplace to apply the principles learnt to further develop and enhance their inspection routines.
